Thank you for using SavaIndexing ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iPadOS application.

To put it simply: We (the developer) do not collect, store, or share your personal data.

1. Data Collection & Usage

SavaIndexing is primarily a local productivity tool designed to process PDF files on your device.

• We do not collect any personal information (such as your name, email, or IP address) on our own servers.
• We do not track your usage behavior through third-party analytics services.

2. Third-Party Services (Google Cloud Vision)

The app provides an optional feature to use Google Cloud Vision API for advanced OCR (Optical Character Recognition). This feature is disabled by default.

• User-Controlled: This feature only functions if you explicitly import your own Google Cloud Service Account Key (`.json` file).
• Data Transmission: If you use this feature, image data from your periodicals will be sent directly from your device to Google's servers for text recognition.
• Privacy: This interaction occurs directly between you and Google using your own credentials. We do not have access to your API keys, the images you send, or the text returned. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

3. Local Processing & Apple Vision

• On-Device Intelligence: By default, the app uses Apple's on-device Vision framework for OCR. This processing happens entirely on your iPad and no data leaves your device.
• File Storage: All imported PDFs, generated screenshots, and drafted articles are stored locally in the app's document directory or the folder you selected.

4. File Access Permissions

To perform its core functions, the app requires access to files on your iPad.

• User Selection: The app only accesses files or folders that you explicitly select or import via the document picker.
• Security Scoped: We use iOS/iPadOS standard security-scoped bookmarks to maintain access to the folders you are working on, ensuring your data remains under your control.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting on this page.
